This handy little scale is great for all kinds of tasks. We use it to measure the amount of material used in a printed part for costing. With precision down to 1/100 gram, it’s plenty precise for everything we do. Its 200g capacity is enough for almost any printed part, but not enough for some complete assemblies. For those, we use a less precise kitchen scale.
We use the tare function to check our hardware kits for missing parts. We weigh one kit and use the tare function to zero out the scale. Then we weigh each completed kit. If the scale reads zero, we know everything is right. If we missed even an M3 washer, this scale is precise enough to show it.
