Today, we continue work on the spindle lock for the G0704 mill. Last time, we milled out the clamp parts, down to a waterline. Now we’re going to remove the holding stock (top hat) on the lathe. Or at least mostly on the lathe. Then we’ll take the parts over to the router table for an unorthodox chamfering technique–at least for machinists.
