Today we’re going to 3D print a new control panel for my drill press to control a 3-phase motor and VFD. We’ll measure up the old front housing and design a new one to fit in the same space with the controls we need for the VFD. We’ll use the Loft, Shell and Rib features in Fusion 360 to replicate the geometry of the injection-molded factory part.
