These are the standard extension springs we include in our double extruder hardware kits. They’re perfect for the Itty Bitty Double Extruder and the Itty Bitty Double Flex extruder.
These springs provide the high tension needed for the hobbed bolt to bite into hard filaments like ABS, PLA, Polycarbonate, HIPS, etc. WIth our custom hobbed bolts and these springs, the NEMA 14 motors will usually skip steps before the bolt slips on the filament.
